Compact Converters
Virginia Diodes offers compact converters (CCs) for frequency up and down-conversion. These converters are easy to use and well suited for high performance up and down conversion of wide band modulated millimeter-wave signals. VDI CCs offer full waveguide band coverage and are available from WR28 (22.5-40 GHz) to WR2.2 (330-500 GHz) with additional CCs under development. BAW Devices
Teledyne RF & Microwave has been producing Bulk Acoustic Wave (BAW) delay devices since the early 1960’s. Over the years,Teledyne has constantly improved BAW technology and is currently the world’s only supplier of microwave bulk acoustic wave delay devices. Markets for BAW devices include instrumentation and radar altimeters and are available in connectorized, pin and surface mount configurations.BAW devices operate as low as 300 MHz and as high as 17 GHz, usually in sub-bands of around 10%. Depending on the delay and frequency of operation the insertion loss is in the range 30 dB to 90 dB.

Analog Ultrasonic Inspection System

It electronically translates these signals by heterodyning them down into the audible range so that a user can hear these sounds through a headset and see them as intensity increments on the meter. The ENC400B is an RGB to NTSC video and S-Video encoder designed for industrial video applications. The ENC400B is especially useful for recording the signal from one of the new generation cameras that do not produce NTSC video or S-Video signals. The color subcarrier is locked to the horizontal frequency using advanced phase locked loop techniques. High signal bandwidth is maintained on both the composite and S-Video outputs. The sync signal can be applied as an external signal or can be present on the green channel.

The APCI-3116 is a 16-bit multifunction board for 3.3 V and 5 V PCI systems, with optical isolation up to 1000 V and a high throughput rate of 200 kHz. The PCI board has additional types of conversion: Sequence RAM, Auto Refresh, scan, timer or external event.Furthermore, the board has a PCI DMA, 2 watchdogs, 4 digital inputs and 4 digital outputs. Sensors, which allow to supply current signals instead of voltage signals, also can be acquired with the APCI-3116, as this board offers up to 16 current inputs. The board is protected against overvoltage and input filter and it is protected against high frequency emmission. With the free calibration tool you can do the fine adjustment on-site.

Radar Electronic Support Receiver

The RR024 is designed for Radar Electronic Support (RES) and Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) applications where high performance and small size are of prime importance, with filtering, amplification, detection and pulse parameter measurement being combined into one multi-function unit. Four amplitude measurement channels allow direction finding by amplitude comparison between adjacent antennas. An IFM, fed from one of the amplitude channels via an SPDT switch, performs 14 bits of frequency measurement on the selected input. Frequency resolution is nominally 1 MHz over a 2 to 18 GHz band.
